It is essential that any work carried out on gas appliances in your home needs to be undertaken by a qualified registered GAS SAFE engineer.  There are numerous unqualified and unregistered gas workers carrying out illegal gas work, it is therefore essential that any one carrying out gas work in your home produces a GAS SAFE identification card.

How efficient is your boiler? Are you wasting money on high Gas Bills, because your boiler is inefficient?

A good quick test to establish whether your boiler is G rated or below is to see if it has a permanent pilot light -if it has then it is very likely to be a G-rated boiler.

Any gas fired boiler over fifteen years old is also likely to be G rated and will no doubt be costing you money in excessive bills.

So now is the time to start thinking about upgrading or replacing your boiler.
